Vuina Plavac Mali Štafileo (2011)

Winery Vuina is located between Split and Trogir on the dalmatian coast. Like most all of the Vuina wines, this is a very easygoing bottle. Aromas of cherries, mediterranean spices and cinnamon appears on the nose.

On the palate is smooth with chocolate tones and a slight back end of walnuts and dried  figs. It’s pleasant drinking, albeit with a stronger body than their other wines due to the time spent in the oak. Nice acidity and a persistent tannic finish.

Food pairing: Tuna, grilled or steaks.
