The fundamental mission for Šuljić family is the conservation of the indigenous grape variety Gegić (apparently also known as Debeljan). By taking grafts of these old vines, a new vineyard was raised to save the indigenous variety. The Gegić wine is their passion and obsession. They want to present to the world the best and most unique feature of our island, and that is Gegić.
Gegić is a dry white wine produced from the variety of the same name. In this variation, this is a gentle, aperitif wine with light floral and mineral aromas and a moderate alcohol content. The nose is light, touch of minerals, some citrus. Same on the palate with a nice cider finish. Despite this, it still presents good acidity that lingers in to the finish.
